I have been struggling with this Owl Bear challenge for a while now. It asks for a complete reimagining of the subject matter.
To design a beast so alien that owl bear seems the only way to rationalise a description.
This fella does not meet the mark, but I like him.

I like both bear owls but think owl eyes and feathers are needed on the bear.
