Day_86_bearish

I have been struggling with this Owl Bear challenge for a while now. It asks for a complete reimagining of the subject matter.

To design a beast so alien that owl bear seems the only way to rationalise a description.

This fella does not meet the mark, but I like him.

Corel 1 hour.

These guys, these guys are awesome, Link

86. Bearish

Day_82_Morla

Bless

I’m not ashamed to say I cried when Artax gave in to the swamp.

Photoshop 1 and a half hours.

Please do not deny yourself the joy that lies beyond this Link. The hair alone is worth it.

Camouflaged bipedal marsupial predator commonly called a Bunyip.
By request.
Started it in Corel sketchpad, damn fool that I am,
swapped to Photoshop after the first crash.
Approx 2 hours.

Day_18_MagmaMole
Yes invented beasts count as characters for the purposes of this exercise.
Corel Sketchpad (part of the tablets bundled software) Many hours, many of them due to the software’s propensity to crash whilst doing just about anything, including saving. Thus many elements were done more than once.
I’m happy to be finished it.

I would like to recommend sketchpad because the brushes and tools behave superbly. However the instability ensures that I will not be using it again until it gets a significant update.
